Location data is continuously being collected at an increasing rate from a multitude of devices and sensors, enabling the analysis and the development of new use cases.
In this talk, we will cover three such applications: 1. Real-time end-to-end prediction of a user route within cities – that can be used for example for last-mile deliveries 2. Modeling and analysis of drivers’ behavioral patterns – that can be used for example for personal insurance and driving hazard alarms 3. Analysis of human mobility patterns during pandemic times, such as COVID19, and the potential effect on the spread and the control of the disease. All the above applications are based on strong collaboration with companies such as cellular providers and vehicle leasing companies.
